The pavilion and sports hall on Swan Meadow playing field were constructed in 1998 at the same time as the two all weather tennis courts with the assistance of a Sports Council Lottery grant. The playing field, pavilion and the children’s play area are maintained by fundraising and donations which the B.P.F.A. Burwash Fair on August Bank Holiday Monday is the single largest annual fundraising event in the Parish and is run by the B.P.F.A. to help meet annual costs and also enables other charitable groups within the community and national charities to raise funds for their needs.

The Officers and Committee of the B.P.F.A. are appointed by election at the Annual General Meeting each April for the forthcoming year and are usually trustees of the association.
